A short piece of music with only VSL ... (except solo cello and duduk). Dimension strings, Appassionata string, dimension Brass , Epic Horn(8 horns), woodwinds solo, harp. MIR Pro reverb.

  • This is fantastic work.. Your have superb orchestration skills.

The piece begins apparently innocently, with a solo oboe and woodwind melodies...later growing into gigantic sound. I would have difficulty distinguishing this from some 20th century romantic music and classic hollywood orchestral scores. You control the dramatic narrative with a combination of tonal, harmonic and orchestral effects.  For example the crescendo and rapid diminuendo that starts to swell around 1:39. I also heard somethings different from traditional stuff, like the notes played by the flute around 1:33, sounds like an Indian scale.

Congrats on the great piece of work! (I am already listening to it for the third time now.)

  • Thank you so much Anand for your feedback!

  • That sounds really good, especially all the variety between solos and large ensemble.

  • What a nice piece!

Could you share some small tips about how you combine Dimension strings and Appassionata string?

Did you merge them to achieve a big sound? Or you just simply use DS as divisi and AS as Orchestral String?

    Thanks!!

  • Thank you for your feedback! I use DS as divisi with MATRIX - VIPRO groups. I put 40% dry/wet on MIR PRO and I mix Appassionata a little behind. I also use X-Fade velocity for musical nuances. I hope it helps you a little. Sorry for my English, which is very bad.

Merci! Je parle français, ne vous inquiétez pas. That's very helpful indeed.

  • Very nice piece! Orchestra is your business. I wander, is it a finished work or it is just a fragment. When after duduk a phrase  G-BbA/A-CBb/Bb-DC repeated like an echo somewhere else, I thought a development starts and so on. A good work, thanks.

  • Thank you Gukas for your comment. Yes, there is a sequel that has not yet been finished.

Merci Gukas pour ton commentaire. Oui il y a une suite que n’ai pas encore terminé

  • Beautiful piece. I enjoyed listening to it. The orchestration sounds very expressive and rich.

  • Thank you very much for your feedback!
