  • DCOM connection to program 'Synsopos.exe' failed

I have several Slave PCs running the latest version of VEPro 6 and Windows 10
On two of the machines I am getting the following error message:
"DCOM connection to program 'Synsopos.exe' failed."
I am unable to save or quit VePro and sometimes it totally wipes out my saved VEPro Server file!
I have uninstalled both VEPro 6 and the eLicenser application and reinstalled them with the latest available versions of the software with no luck.
These machines are not online so I have no idea why this just started happening. They have been running for over a year with zero problems.I reached out to Steinberg and they had no solution to offer.

    Any help would be GREAT!

    Thanks,

    Rik

  • last month my slaves also frequently loose keys on macOS with last LCC versions... For  me helps roll back to previous versions of LCC - try to install, for example, 6.11.3.1242 or something

  • Thanks!

That seemed to have done the trick. Glad that I saved some old installs!

    Cheers,

    Rik

Dear VSL, please check and fix it! VePro really not works with last versions of LCC. If I install last version of LCC, I see this every day:

  • Hi V_ad_im,

I'm afraid this situation is simply not ours to solve. We are in touch with our colleagues at eLicenser/Steinberg and we know that they are working on improving the situation.

    Best,
    Paul

  • Is there any news?

  • Hi,

Unfortunately no news yet, but we know that Steinberg / eLicenser are working on improvements with the eLicenser Software with high pressure.

    Best,
