I did a new mix of this piece using my own arrangement. I had no sheet music so just tried to remember it - I think it is right. It uses Dimension Brass and antiphonal piccolo trumpets and chimes - ha-ha! Every piece of music should have antiphonal chimes and piccolo trumpets. It was mixed using the Schubert Hall MIR.

  • Antiphonal chimes and piccolo trumpets are the first instruments I think of when I sit down and compose a new piece. And,to be honest, what composer worth his salt doesn't incorporate antiphonal chimes and piccolo trumpets in his music. It's still a wonderful arrangement even if you misremembered it William. Majestic and regal. I feel like I'm in the presence of royally here. I guess I better practice my curtsey. Thank you for sharing William.

  • That sounded so realistic in my stereo. Being a Horn player helps I guess:). I will bug you later William for advice on brass writing, Btw My wife says they used this music in every Sherlock homes episode in Russia... Anand

  • Bill this is wonderfully produced! And from memory!!...

  • Thanks Erriko, Anand and  Jasen!  This might be more "proper" with natural trumpets and horns, though I have no sackbutt.

Of the brass kind that is.
