  • Uncategorized Vienna Instruments patches

    Hi!

Yesterday I took the chance to upgrade my Vienna Instruments libraries through the Black Friday deal, by upgrading to the symphonic cube package. For some reason the patches are rather unorganized in the Vienna Instruments Software.

Firstly, the Woodwinds I package, and most of the percussion instruments are rather haphazardly placed at the bottom under "Download Instrument patches", and not in their respective category (see the attached "WW" picture). I guess it might have to do with me buying the flute first, and now upgrading to a fuller package, but any idea how to make them be grouped together with the other woodwinds?

Secondly, in the other instrument patches, the patches themselves are sorted under categories such as "SHORT + LONG NOTES", "PERF INTERVAL", etc, but my woodwind I patches are just bunched together - which makes them much harder to use (see the attached "Oboe" pictures). Is there a way to sort them like the others?

    All the best! /Daniel

  • Hi

    Did you get sorted?

I checked mine and there's no "Download Instrument patches". Maybe the installation needs running again?

  • Hi,

If you get one "Single Instrument" that's part of a collection, an upgrade to this collection will provide you with the missing instruments in form of single instruments as well. This is a historically grown concept, and those instruments were our first download instruments... which is why all single instruments are listed under "Download Instruments".

Thank you for your answer! I contacted support and they helped me delete all the single instrument licenses and provided me with the full collections instead. Really happy with the help!
