Having purchased VEPro 7 in the Black Friday sale, I want to delete the original Epic Orchestra because E. O. 2.0 appears to include the same content. I don't have any other Vienna Instruments libraries so I could delete the software as well. However, the Uninstaller is not in my Vienna Instruments folder (Windows 7) so can you tell me the best way to uninstall it and the E. O. library? Thanks.

Hi Marcusmax,
You can delete the sample content files (*.dat files) in your Finder/Explorer if you never want to open the original Epic Orchestra again. It's "just" data :-)

Thanks for that Paul. Yes, I do realise that the relevant folder could simply be deleted but I was wondering if there was a more 'elegant' way to uninstall the programme including library files as sometime just erasing the data leaves certain elements behind.
No problem though, I'll simply go ahead and erase the data if there is no other way. I presume I'm not losing out on anything by doing this? I mean am I right in assuming that Epic Orch. 2.0 contains all the content from the previous version so there's no need to keep both?

Hi Marcusmax,
I can't think of a more elegant way.
Yes, the EO 2.0 contains exactly the same instruments and articulation you have in the original EO, but of course it sounds bit different, being placed @Synchron Stage Vienna.

Ok thanks Paul. That's very clear. I'll have a closer listen to them and then decide if there's enough of a difference to warrant keeping both.
