  • Blank window when loading AU Plug Ins

HI, I am new to VEPro and have two issues: I am using the trial version of VEPro.

    1) When I try to use AU plugins of my Roland Cloud Suite all I get when I want to edit the perameters is a blank window where the plugin/virtual synth should be. If I use vst that shows up fine and I can edit the sound, only problem is is that I would use all VST but VEPro isn't recognising the VST versions of the synths. I have been using Pro Tools 12 on the master mac and VEPro on my MB pro. All the sound and midi work fine just I can't edit the plug in.

    2) The second issue is I can't seem to get sound out of Reaper. I have the midi signals all the way, all the meters are dancing as expected but no sound. The setup is the same as my PT rig and the sound from reaper runs out of my Digi 003 factory. I know sound comes out as when running synths natively in reaper I can hear it but when using VEPro I can't get the sound out. I am using the same VEPro connection as I used for the pro tools test above so I know the connections are fine. All I have done is to change the DAW, all hardware is the same.

    Many thanks in advance.

  • Having done some more investigation it seems to be an issue specific to Roland Cloud Applications with the exception of their concerto plugin. I have downloaded some free AU instruements and they work fine as expected running with pro tools, I am going to try Reaper again to see if that issue is in someway connected to the Roland products. I have contacted RC support to report the issue as it could be a problem at their end.

  • Hello.

I have the same problem. I want to use VEpro7 so I can run Roland System 8 plugin which is very cpu intensive.

I get the blank screen. I just got the trial version of VEpro7 with a view to purchasing but it is not looking good so far :(
