  • Bug(?): Synchron Player added perform page sliders get lost

    Environment:

    • Synchron player (1.1.1744 == current)
    • used in VEP 7 (7.0.922 == current)
    • on Windows 10 (slave machine).

    Synopsis:
    An slider added to the perform page of the synchron player disappears as soon as I switch to an other (synchron player) channel in the same instance and back. Switching to another synchron player in an other instance does keep the slider unaffected.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Create a new instance in VEP
    2. Add two synchron player instances (channels) to that instance
    3. On the first channel simply add an slider via the + sign (which one, or with or without a preset loaded does not matter, so lets use an expression slider on an empty player to keep things as simple as possible).
    4. Change to the second channel (notice it does NOT have that added slider, in VI Pro the additional sliders appear globally on all player instances even across different instances in VEP IIRC).
    5. Switch back to the first channel -> Added slider is gone

    Remarks:
    The slider also is gone if I save the synchron player with the added slider as custom preset and reload that.
    This is such a basic functionality that do not believe to be the first one to encounter that bug, but searching the net and this forum I could not find any other report on this. Perhaps there is some kind of "reset player on focus lost" setting hiding somewhere in the synchron player preferences that I have not found yet? Besides that, an option to have all synchron player instances share a global instance of the perform page configuration (as VI Pro already does by default) would be useful.

    P.S.: Also the synchron player window size is reset to the default size each time when switching away and back.
