    I have just purchased and installed Synchron-ized Special edition 1 including the plus version. When I open Synchron - both in Logic and as a stand alone, there is a red cross over many of the "type". (e.g Violin 1 PLUS, Shortnotes, "Staccato" and "Detache" + many others)

    Someone else have this issue?

    I am seeing the same thing as I browse through various articulations.

    Have you found any solutions or suggestions? Very odd behaviour indeed.

    Hi,

    Please open the player's configuration and check under database if any paths are red. If there are any paths in red, the player could not find samples in these folders. Please check and correct these (attach an external drive?).

    Let me know if this solves this issue.

    Everything shows up fine. Nothing in red for the paths or DB.

    They only go red after a key is hit.

    Please send some screenshots of your Preferences => Database and your sample content (*.vsynvolume files) with the storage path to support@vsl.co.at or post them here, so we can see what you see.

    Hi,

    Looks like it should. I also assume you are using the latest Synchron Player version, correct?

    There was a bug with having the sample content right in the root folder of a drive, but that has been fixed.

    That is the latest version, so you should be fine.

    Was this issue solved? I just installed Synchron myself and am having exactly this issue.

    Database paths looks fine - not crossed out. Various articulations will not play - legato more often than not but not always.

    I am running Synchron as a plugin in an instantiation of VE Pro Server. All other VE Pro6 instruments have always and still are working fine. The VE Pro Server environment is running on a MacBook Pro and sending via ethernet to my ProTools rig on a MacPro. Has always worked beautifully.

    Any help appreciated!

     

    **UPDATE: solved. I realized the SYN SE Vol1 had not been sucessfully INSTALLED, only the PLUS. Hence all the missing pieces. Fixed.
