  • algo reverb off by default?

the manual says that algo reverb is off by default in ViPro, but when I put an instance of ViPro into my DAW (not VePro), and then load one of the Dimension Strings presets, the algo reverb is on by default.

I seem to recall that it used to be off by default and I may have done something in the past to make it so that it would be on by default, but I can't remember what, if anything I did, or hwo to reverse it so that its off by default.

What do I need to configure so that ViPro presets will load without the algo reverb turned on?

  • Hi,

The information on reverb is saved with your presets, it is not a general setting.

So if the preset was saved with disabled reverb, it will load like that, unless you are inserting your VI / Pro into VE Pro with MIR active on that channel.

    Best,
    Paul

  • So the dimension string factory presets have it on? Means I guess the only way to have it off by default when using dimension strings directly in my daw is to save user presets of all the factory presets I use often. Well maybe I will come up with other reasons to do that also. Thanks
