    Hi Dave and Becky, thank you so much for your very personal good wishes for all of us! I enjoyed seeing you for the first time as a couple playing very beautifully.
    You wished us a merry little Christmas. Well, in any case (or do you say "anyway" in this case, I don't know, sorry. As you know, I'm just a poor Dutchman) you caused a big smile on my face on Christmas Eve! Thanks.

    And of course I wish both of you and your family also a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year!

    It was a crazy year for me: joining the VSL-team in late August this year made one of my dreams come true. It's an amazing team, as well as an amazing community. And I'm excited for 2020!

    Ben, congratulations on the new position.  I, too, was lucky to have the chance to have a dream come true, when VSL gave me the opportunity to do some demos this year.  Here's hoping that everyone's 2020 is filled with happiness and success!

    A belated merry Christmas to you! Thank you guys so much for spreading some yuletide cheer around the forum. The cozy fireplace reminded me of some white Christmases I had as a child growing up in Colorado. Of course up there in the Great White North you guys always have a white Christmas. And a white New Year's, a white Ground Hogs Day, a white Easter a white Mother's Day, and probably a white all of July for that matter (Man, it gets brutally cold up there). Anyway it was very kind of you guys to take the time to do that and thank you again for it. Next year you can perform a trio of "All I Want For Christmas is my Two Front Teeth" with your little one on vocals B-) BTW Did I hear a little bit of "Home Alone" in the intro???

    Thanks for the laughs, Jasen! You win a prize for catching the Home Alone theme at the start. I'm sappy, what can I say? It's too late for our little one to want her two front teeth, but she can sing, All I want for Christmas is for daddy to stop writing music and spend all his time serving me! (which I already do, by the way). Oh, and while I've lived in the northern most parts of Canada, where I am now hardly qualifies as brutal weather. It has been near t-shirt wearing weather for most of December :)

    Well unfortunately VSL has yet to make a "Yultide Fireplace Sample Library."

    But when they do, look out Skippy because, not only will it move, but it will be so real that you could warm your hands with it.  Get the full library and you'll be able to roast marshmellows with it.😃

    Where you live now is dang-near as far south as California. Take an afternoon drive to Point Pelee and you are as far south as California. (Last Fun Geography Fact of the year. I promise 😉)
