First off, I'm new to VSL other than VE Pro but recently bought into some of the Synchronized libraries. I'm already a big fan! So far I have purchased SE 1 and 1-plus, SE 3, Woodwinds, and Chamber Strings, all in the Synchron format. What I'd like to know though, is how many more libraries will be brought over from the older VSL libraries? How many more articulations? For instance, I now have Synchronized Woodwinds, but are there going to be more woodwinds brought over, because I am assuming there is still a LOT of sample content that is only available in the Vienna Sample player? I only ask because I'd love to see/have more.

Welcome Eric,
We have transformed quiite some of our VI collections into SYNCHRON-ized version, and there will definitely be more.
The conversion takes quite some time for each product, as we are optimizing and adpting all samples, sometimes even remastering them (like with, e.g., the SYNCHRON-ized Chamber Strings).
So you can definitely expect more. Right now, the SYNCHRON-ized Special Editions give you all the basics for all instruments, and of course there will be upgrade paths to the corresponding SYNCHRON-ized products.

Hi Paul!
You mentioned the Chamber Strings being remastered for the Synchron-ized version. Out of interest: what about the Chamber Strings content that is included in the Synchron-ized Special Edition 2? Are these the "original" Chamber Strings samples, or was the remastered material used for these instruments?

We used the same samples that were available in the original VI Special Editions, for consistency.

Hi, I have a mini-SY-future mission which is only a cosmetic change.
Please change the font color from black to white in your Synchron Player - FX-Plugins. Sometimes it is hard to read on displays which are standing further away.
