  • How to use MIDI learn on Context menu in Synchron Piano?

Today I accidentally right-click MIDI sensitivity area to open a menu. It's called "Context Menu" in Synchron piano manual. When I click Learn, I found that there were some changes in the sound feedback of playing keystrokes, and shows different value in realtime. What does it work? Is it useful for playing? Btw, there are other options listed in this menu, but not clear how to use them. All of them doesn't seem to be explained in detail in the manual. Hoping for an answer. Thanks

  • Hi robinlb1900,

Those context menus let you assign any of the listed controllers to change the value of the corresponding feature.

So you can change the MIDI Sensitivity while you play, with any MIDI CC or Pitch Bend or Speed or Aftertouch... a lot of options there (that a real piano does not have).

  • thx Paul another question: how can I customize my personal midi response curve which is a common feature in other VST software? My midi keyboard is yamaha N1X,but I found its hard to get a perpect keyboard response by simply adjusting MIDI Sensitive.

  • Hi,

We don't offer a velocity curve, but you can check out the "Dynamic" knob and the many options you get on the edit page, where you can adjust Dynamic Range and MIDI Sensitivity on a note-per note basis, if you like (select the notes you want to adjust and adjust accordingly).

  • Thanks Paul, Other controlling functions in context menu may not be useful for me to play the piano. But about "MIDI learn", am I just going to click on it and open it? It automatically learns and adjusts, right?

  • Hi,

Yes, if you click "Learn", the next incoming MIDI controller will be assigned to the selected parameter.
