  • How to make the BBO work in a DAW?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask about this, but I have the Big Bang Orchestra open in the Vienna Synchron Player. I have a couple of different DAWs (Cakewalk by Bandlab, LMMS, and Tracktion 7) and I have no idea how to open the orchestra in any of them. Is there any way I can open the library in my DAW through a VST or something like that? Or is there another way to record stuff in the orchestra that I'm missing? I'm very new to this and don't have much idea of how it all works. Thanks!

    Hi,

You will find the Synchron Player as a plug-in in your DAWs, so when you load them, you can insert the BBO right there.

Here are a few videos that will help!

  • Where would that file be? I only have the option for .dll and .vst3 files and I scanned what seemed like the only files where anything installed and I couldn't find them.

  • Hi,

Plug-ins are organized in flexible VST Plug-in folders on Windows.

YOU decide where to install the *.dll file upon installation, and those folders need to be assigned in the Preferences of your DAW, so that your DAW knows where to look for the plug-ins you want to use.
