I just expanded my system from Mac Pro master - Macbook Pro slave and added a PC slave into it. As I'm trying to set this new combo up and running I'm getting some weird behaviour from VEP7. It is presenting both the Mac Pro master and my new PC slave as localhost. Is this normal? There are two pictures added to this post to clarify my situation. The first is my PC slave off and the second PC slave on.

VEP7 connection issue

I've had my trustworthy Zyxel switch up and running for years. Ethernet port 1 is connected to my Master Mac Pro via cat 6 ethernet cable, port 2 to my first slave (macbook pro, this connection has worked and is working flawlessly) and port 3 to my new PC slave. I'm not absolutely certain of the PC slave's IP address. If I type ipconfig in command prompt, the result says 'Ethernet adapter Ethernet' IPv4 is 169.254.133.89 and 'Ethernet adapter Ethernet 2' is 192.168.56.1 .

Here's some more information. If I diagnose my PC's Ethernet connection, the result says ' "Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration '.

I can't assign a static IP address. This might be because I don't know the default gateway. I can get the IP address and subnet mask from command prompt ipconfig, but the default gateway shows empty.
The DNS servers also look really weird:
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : fec0:0:0:ffff::1%1
fec0:0:0:ffff::2%1
fec0:0:0:ffff::3%1
