  • [SOLVED] Vienna InstrumentS Directory Manager update error

    Hello!

    When trying to apply the VI ChamberStrings II an error occured: after a few seconds an alert appeared "eLiecenser POS Error Message" and then a notification saying that 0 files were updated (please see enclosed pictures)

    All licenses are ok, and I can use Chamber Strings I and II in VI Pro 2.

    I'm using the Directory Manager Version 2.1.18457 in the Vienna Instruments Pro folder (on macOS 10.14.6).

    Hi Gil,

    That's an eLicenser error... Did you check that you are using the latest eLCC?

    I'd restart the computer and give this another try.

    Thanks for your quick answer!

    I'm using the last version of eLicenser Control Center (6.11.10.2263) and restarting/shutting down then start the computer doesn't fix the problem.

    Any other ideas or tests I can do to fix this?

    Hello Gil,

    Please uninstall your current eLicenser Control Center and try with this 32 bit version of eLicenser, that should solve it until a new update is available. Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks for you day-off answer ;-)

    Unfortunately, no more success with your license: tried on both versions of eLicenser (last one and 32-bits) even after a Mac restart... I've tried also with another update (VI Chamber Strings I) that I've already done successfully a few months ago and I have the same error too.

    Do you want me to write a mail to support or do you want to do it (as you said "let's" :))?

    I hope everyone is fine!

    I'm having this problem for 2 months and a half and not seeing any progress, I'll try to ask if anyone can help.

    • System: macOS Mojave 10.14.6 ; RAM: 16 GB; Available disk space: 10 GB
    • Directory Manager: 6.5.18860 (last version as today)
    • eLicenser: tried with last 32-bits version 6.11.3.4257 and last 64-bit version 6.11.10.2266
