Midi activity focus has been really useful in my very large template it got me to thinking, wouldn't it be nice if there was the same thing for audio and input channels? Basically, you would turn "Audio Activity Focus" on (and by default that would disable midi activity focus) and then the VEP7 window would automatically scroll to show you channels where the meters are moving.
I get that you could have a ton of audio channels with meter activity during playback but it could just be set by default to scroll the window to center the first audio channel where there is meter activity.
This way, when you are stopped, not during playback, you could trigger an instrument from your DAW, and have the VEP window jump, not to show you the MIDI instrument, but the input channel or audio bus/return inside VEP so you can quickly find and edit effects plugins on that channel.
