  • [SOLVED] Missing libraries

Hello - and apologies if this has already been addressed, I haven't been able to find a solution.

I am new to VSL (as of December 2019) and am setting up a new iMac. I will be using VSL with Digital Performer.

My problem is that while libraries show up as licensed in the e-licenser (see image), two (Brass I and Upright Bass) are not showing up in the Syncrhon Player (see image).

In particular, these same two libaries are showing up not "under" the VSL directory in the VSL Directory Manager but as "peered" to the main VSL directory (see image).

On the other hand, all of the libraries are in fact in the same directory: both the libraries that are showing up and the two that aren't are in fact all in the same directory (see image).

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

    Best regards,

    Iver

  • Hi Iver,

Those 2 are of course VI Collections.... Did you check that the folders contain *.dat files?

If not (and you see *.cab files), please click INSTALL in your Download Manager, the data needs to be extracted.

    Best,
    Paul

    Ach so!

    Vielen danke, Paul!

I am new to VSL, coming here on the recommendation of my good friend John Penny.

A light went on...I hadn't noticed that there are two separate "players".

I will investigate per your instructions!

Again, thank you for your prompt reply!

    All the best,

    Iver
