  • 32-bit VST plug-ins not appearing, making me unhappy

Any idea why these 32-bit VST plug-ins are greyed out?

Windows 7 64-bit, but some 32-bit ones do appear. The one I'm really interested in is Altiverb - don't care about the others.

    TIA

  • Cubase, for example, no longer accepts 32 bit plugins.

    Maybe that's why.

    Cheers

Have you tried rescanning your plugins in VEPro? I know VEPro 7 dropped 32 bit support for Macs but Windows is supposed to be okay. Have you by any chance updated your plugins? I know some developers have dropped 32 bit support on their later versions.

  • Make sure you open the 32-bit version of VEP to use 32-bit plugins. You can run VEP 32-bit and 64-bit side by side.

Please note: all 32-bit applications are limited to 4GB of RAM. This is also true for the 32-bit version of VEP!

  • Yeah, this is the 32-bit version of the server (but the same happens with the 32-bit stand-alone program).

    I tried rescanning.

But thanks, as long as I know that it *should* work, that means something is awry.

    Thanks everone, thanks Ben.

  • Oh - and yes, I'm fully aware that you can run the 64- and 32-bit versions side-by-side. :)
