    Hi All,

    This is probably a really stupid question but.....

    I have owned the VI Dimension Strings I for a while.  I just purchased VI Dimension Strings II (con sordino), but I cannot see them in Vienna Instruments Pro!  I see the first set but how do I find the con sordino set? Where are they added? How do I load them?  :-)

    Hi Mike, 

    Did you make sure you INSTALLED your VI Dim Strings II?

    Then you should find files that start with "Dimension Violins II_", and the installed sample content consists of *.dat files.... 

    You decide where to download the the installation files (*.cab files) to, and you also decide where you want to install the sample content (*.dat files) to... 

    If in doubt, I'd start the download an installation once again.

    Hi Paul, I did install. I see the .dat and .cab files on my sample drive. Oddly, I no longer see the Dimension I files which were in the same place. However, I can open the Dimension I files in VIPro but do not see the Dimension II anywhere as presets, matrices, or patches! Should I try reinstalling both again? When installed are they combined or do they remain separate? If I do try to reinstall what is the best way to uninstall and delete the existing files? Mike

    Hi,

    I had the same problem a little while ago, my Dim-Strings II, and Historic Winds I libraries were not visible in VI-Pro 2's Browser. Although they were installed properly on the SSD. 

    I don't recall how I fixed this issue. Here are some suggestions,  try do a Re-Scan of the drive from the Directory Manager.  You can also try to do a search in the Browser for the word 'Sordino' and see if they show up.
