    Hello I would like to positionning all my instrument without reverb (dry) So what is the best way for minimum cpu please. Regards Thierry

    Hi Thierry,

    just to make sure that I got this correctly: You want to use a MIR Venue for positioning of the direct signals only, but without using the actual room response - is that right?

    In this case I suggest to use one of the studios or scoring stages which allow for positioning all around the Main Microphone, switch off the Secondary Mic, bring down the Reverb Time to the minimum length, and select "Dry Solo" in the Output panel. This will reduce the processing power used for convolution as much as possible (but it won't switch off the convolution engine completely).
