  • How to remove columns and rows from matrix?

    Dears,

I had loaded some Horns Runs Chord Set into Vienna Instruments Pro matrix. Nice!

But now I recognize I need only a little piece of it. So I question is, how to delete - completely remove - some rows and some columns? Theoretically disabling shall be enough, but even disabled columns and rows are blocking control keys, so I really prefer to minimize my matrix.

I marked what I want to remove on attached images.

If not - how it would be to as fast as possible to recreate matrix from scratch, when it contains chords and sequences?

    Best regards,

    Seweryn.

  • Hi Seweryn,

Matrix Rows cannot be removed, you can only extend / minimize the size of the matrix from the first slot in the upper right corner.

  • Hi Seweryn,

A small trick to help you resizing it faster: Hold the Ctr-Key (Command on Mac?) and click-drag the slots you want to keep one by one to the top row. This will insert them there with all settings included. After that you can simply resize the matrix to the compact form.

  • Hi,

Thanks for tips, I will try to use them efficiently, but ... if I will shift articulations above, than they will change chord progression, because the first row in Matrix is related to Sequence "Oct up" and the last one which I like is related to "Phr B up". See my screenshots.

OK. Yet another question - is it possible to delete sequence from Sequencer?
Perhaps, when I will delete not needed Sequence(s), then the Matrix will be reduced automatically :-).

    BR,

    Seweryn.
