Hi all ,
i have a problem with the Waves Grand Rhapody plugin.
and the problem is, that it won't load the samples of the waves sample library (HD/SD) into the plugin when inserted in VI Ensemble Pro 7.
And this is also with the Waves Clavinet.
They won't load the samples.
Anybody uses these plugins in Ensemble, and is this working for you?
And how can i access these samples so that they load in Grand Rhapsody/Clavinet ?

I have this problem as well. Waves Grand Rhapsody opens fine in other hosts but not in VEP, it just says (samples not loaded". Any ideas?

Hi,
Thanks for posting.
VE Pro is "only" a host, so it doesn't have to do anything with the loading process of the inserted plug-ins.
My colleagues at Waves have VE Pro to test... Did you get in touch with them already?

Yeah indeed, figured out long time ago.
because it's a host you can load the vsti on it's own, but won't do anything ( as far samples loading ). You also need to open the main DAW you are going to use for the writing/building your music. And make the connection with the Vienna server. If you use Vienna standalone then it also loads the samples
