    Hi,

    MIR Pro installation went fine.

    Room Packs not so much!

    I tried downloading and installing via the Vienna Downloader and got the:
    "Close Running Applications Vienna Instruments (M6)". A 'ps -fe' showed a single Vienna related process,
    /Library/Application Support/VSL/Vienna Instruments MIDI/ViennaInstrumentsMIDI, which I suspect has nothing to do with the error.

    I also tried Library Installer on the *.info(s); it appeared to work but no *.vmi were installed anywhere (i.e. according to Preferences). And MIR Pro cannot them either.

    eLicenser manual (i.e. instead of the downloader as above) activation worked fine.

    I think I resolved my MIR issues.

    1. The difference between MIR Pro & MIRx was not clear to me; I thought that a MIRx component (.dat) would be readable by MIR Pro. Now I know that .vmi(s) go with MIR Pro and .dat go with VI.
    2. I found a workaround for the installation problem by activating before installing.

    As of now, I am able to use both MIR Pro & MIRx.

    It may be useful to have a simple comparison between two alternatives and explain the rationale of each product.
    This ought to be cross referenced between the two and dry sample products.
