  • [SOLVED] Some problems with Synchron Pianos software

Hi, I updated my Synchron Pianos to 1.1.1470 recently.

But there are some problems with software.

First, it was okay until version 1.1.1413 but after 1.1.1469, it doesn't load the sample any other mics by clicking on except the mics that is defaulted on the factory preset. In short I can't tweak for producing user presets.

The second problem was before the recent update. When I select multiple keys of the keyboard image in Edit panel and drag the note volume number to adjust, the number automatically adjusts in the selected area, making it impossible for adjusting the number at my will. Dragging the bar of the keyboard image doesn't cause the problems, but dragging a number does. I attached a screenshot.

And this seems to be less critical than the above two problems, but when selecting multiple keys, the last C8 note is not selected. For example, if I try to select from G7 to C8 by using Shift, only G7 to B7 will be selected, and C8 will not be selected. The problem can be solved by clicking C8 separately, or clicking C8 first and then select the other keys by using the Shift but it's a bit cumbersome.

I just ran into the same problem...

  • Hi!

I fixed all issues except for the Mic loading problem. I cannot seem to reproduce it. Could you provide me with more detailed steps including the Host/DAW?

    Thank you!

  • Hi, Konrad!

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Launch Synchron Player Standalone.
    2. Double click on any preset to open it (user preset or factory preset)
    3. Go to Mix window.
    4. Click on any mic that are not currently loaded in the preset.

However the samples of the mic are not loaded, and even if I turn up the volume gauge and play my DP, it doesn't respond.

And from what I just checked, this error seems to occur only in Standalone. There is no problem with DAW!

    Hi!

Sorry... still no luck. I have made a little video to show what I am doing. Maybe you can tell me if something else happens on your system? Or maybe I am doing something wrong to reproduce?

  • Ah... maybe this happens on Windows only? I checked on Mac

The reproduction of the video you uploaded is correct. I tried the same thing as the video I attached, but the sample I loaded wasn't played.

    Ah, I'm using Windows.

    Hi
  • I was trying some things with the Synchron Piano Player.

Synchron Piano Player Stand alone version: the behaviour as described in this thread with Yamaha and Steinway. The default can't be loaded, all the other presets can. But no mics can be added at a preset.

Synchron Piano Player as a plug-in in the stand alone Vienna Ensemble Pro version: when I start first the Yamaha, there all things work fine with the microphones, as expected. When I load after the Yamaha the Steinway, all things work fine with the Steinway.
BUT : when I start with the Steinway no extra mics can be loaded in a preset.

The same behaviour of Synchron Piano Player in the Vienna Ensemble Pro plug-in.

I use Samplitude Pro X5 Suite as DAW.

  • Ok, we can reproduce now on Windows standalone and will fix asap.

Thank you for your help and report!

  • Hi, Konrad.

Since yesterday's update, some bugs I mentioned above are now working well.

Thank you for your efforts and quick updates!

    Hi
  • Hi Pbest,

Thanks for the feedback! Which bugs are still there?
