(I've deleted this message, because I found a solution and didn't want to confuse anybody with my conjectures. I was not able to let Velocity select marcato in the Andromeda's Xfade preset. This was because I had Logic's articulation set keeping me back to the non-marcato articulation, so I couldn't select anything with the Velocity…)
However, still as a curiosity: what does the "(w)" abbreviation mean, next to the Marcato label?

Just talked to Andreas, the mastermind behind our preset mappings.
This is on purpose, whenever there are only 2 keyswitches and enough space to place them on white keys, he maps them to white keys.
The options are shown right here, in the SY Player Manual.

Hi Paul, yes, how it works and the logic behind the use of only white keys when there is enough room is clear. My only problem was not being able to understand what that "(w)" abbreviation did mean. I could have discovered by experimenting with keyswitch assignment, but a short note in the manual could avoid confusion for slow learners like me!
In other words: the first thing I did when asking myself about the meaning of that abbreviation was too search in the PDF manual for "(w)", without finding any result.
