  • [SOLVED] Are there patches for the whole section of each dimension string group?

    Hi there,

Just trying to find the individual patches, not for the individual strings, or their desks, but for where the articulations are played by the whole group.

I've found the matrices where you can load them all up, but I'm having no luck seeming to find each full group articulation under the patches heading of the VI pro player.

Thanks if anyone can help me out here.

    best,

    Steve

  • Hi Again,

ok, looks like I've discovered how this works. The patches that are part of the matrices, are already "piled" up for you in these slots for each articulation, but these individual articulations, all piled up on each other to make up one articulation are from the patches, which consist of one of each of the 8 violins.

I was under the impression that the violins were recorded separately at each desk, and also as a group. Or am I mistaken?

    Thanks for any help here.

    Steve.

  • Hi Steve,

All recorded with a separate mic, no group recording for Dimension Strings.

    Hi Paul,

thanks for explaining that. I kind of guessed that when I noticed on the full patchest, that there was stacked all of the violins 1-8.

thanks for letting me know. Now I understand the library so much better.

    best,

    Steve😊
