  • [SOLVED] VE Pro Server 7 Crashes With Second Instance

After a hiatus with VSL I recently started up again. Am using the current version of VE Pro 7.0.1056.

Everything works fine until I add a second instance, at which point it crashes, usually when I attempt to add an instrument to the new instance or try to load a MIR Pro venue. It is not generating crash dumps, although I do notice two text files in my AppData folder with the appropriate time stamp (about 9:58 PST June 25) , so I'm attaching them here.

    Not sure what is happening.

  • Please update Vienna Instruments Pro (as well as Vienna Instruments, Synchron Player and Synchron Piano Player if used) to the latest version.
These crashes come from a too old VI Pro version.

  • Thanks, I reinstalled that version (had been running it).

I may have figured it out. Somehow in my VSL reboot I was working in the 32 bit version of VE Pro Server instead of 64 bit. Not sure that was the problem, if I have any further issues I'll check back.

Edited to add:  After several hours, no problems since using 64 bit instead of 32 bit.
