  • USB eLicenser : what happens if the key breaks down ?

    Hi everybody,

I recently own a beautiful Synchron piano (Steinway) and I will probably own the Bösendorfer Imperial.

So, I'm wondering : what will happen to my eLicenser licenses if the key break down ? I precise that the key stay at home, but an electronic breakdown can happen. I specify that I have registered my key in my VSL account.

    Thanks for your answers.

    Enjoy music !

This chart shows what will happen if your Vienna Key stops working, with and without the optional "protection plan"

  • Hi, I understand. However, I was talking about the USB e-Licenser, not Vienna Key : are there any differences between them about the backup of the licenses ? Thanks for any answers. FRED.

  • USB eLicenser = ViennaKey

It's the same system, the ViennaKey has different packaging, but it's the exact same eLicenser from Steinberg.

  • Amazon offers the Original and the Limited Edition eLicenser keys. What's the difference?

  • I don't know that there a limited edition exists. I would save the money and buy a regular eLicenser / ViennaKey, whatever is cheaper/easier to get for you.
