Hello,
I just downloaded the trial for the Big Bang Trumpets, Horns and Low Brass - excellent sounding and very impressive!
I have one question:
When I go to load the trumpet patch, for example, I can load "trumpets" or "trumpets VelXF"
Does loading the regular "trumpet" preset and then manually enabling velocity cross fading give you the same result as just loading "trumpet VelXF"? Is there some other difference between the tow other than that? Is there another use and/or difference for the two varieties of patches?
Thank you and thanks also for offering the trial of these great libraries.

Hi Mike,
Glad you like our BBO Brass!
The difference with the Vel XF preset is that Vel XF is activated and assigned to CC1 (like many Kontakt users are used to having it), and Vibrato control is mapped to CC2 (instead of the other way around with the normal preset).
Just convenience, basically.
Best, Paul
