    Hello, I posted this several days ago and got no answer. Can someone from VSL please get back to me? Is there a way to completely remove all reverb from a Synchron Piano (Yamaha) preset? I'd like to use it in MIR with other instruments but without the conflicting reverbs! Any way to do this? Thanks Mike

    Hi Mike,

    You can always use the close mics and remove the additional reverb, BUT of course there will always be the fingerprint of the hall on those close mics as well. That was the whole point of recording those Synchron Pianos @ Synchron Stage.

    The Vienna Imperial might be a better choice to use in MIR Pro, you will also find instrument presets for this piano in MIR Pro.
