    Trying to send a crash dump, it's only 18 megs but your mail service is sending it back for being over the 24 MB file size?

    Hi, 

    Please send the crash dump with a different file transfer system, then it will work.

    hello Grodhisatva,
    in case you haven't done so: especially log-files can be compressed significantly using ZIP or RAR.

    to explain: according to its age, design and nature email transport (SMTP) has to encode attachments using a limited amount of characters and split them into parts, wich results in an increase of message size of up to 30%.
    the vsl mailservers are limiting the message size currently to 20 MB, some mailservers actually to 10MB.

    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
