    I just switched to Ableton 10 and VI and VE don't show up in the plug ins menu. I have the VI and VE VSTs in library/audio/plug-ins/VST, and I have the VST3s in library/audio/plug-ins/VST3. Should be good right?

    In Ableton preferences/plug-ins, they don't have an option for simple VST, only VST2 and VST3. So I set VST2 to scan custom folder library/audio/plug-ins/VST and I set VST3 to scan library/audio/plug-ins/VST3.

    I tried both of these on, and then each of them on alone. Nothing makes the VI or VE show up. Any ideas?

    A shot in the dark: Could it be that our plug-ins were blacklisted in Ableton Live?
