  • I3 Mac Mini and Syncron-ized Special Editions

Good afternoon everyone! I’ve been looking through the forums for quite a while now and can’t really find an answer to my question. There seems to be a lot of really helpful people in here, so I thought I would just ask. Also, sorry if this question has already been answered elsewhere. If it has, I couldn’t find it. I have a brand new 2020 Mac Mini with a 3.6 GHz, Quad-core, 8th generation Intel Core I3 processor and 32 GB’s of ram and I’m running Logic Pro X on the newest OS, which I think is Cantalina. I’m interested in getting the Synchron-ized Special Editions Volumes 1, 1 Plus, 2 & 2 Plus. So, my question is, would I be able to load a full orchestra with those specs? Does anyone have a system similar to that? I spoke with the folks at VSL customer support and they were really nice and helpful, but I am hoping for some real world feedback, if that makes sense. I’m imagining a template where I have 1 track per instrument using key switches. I never really mess with extra mic positions or what not in any other sample Libraries that I have. I don’t know how much that tasks the CPU on the computer. I imagine that, if I don’t mess with the extra mics, then those samples don’t get loaded, but I could be wrong. Honestly, I have no idea how the Syncron Sample player works. LOL I really hope that this all makes sense. Strictly speaking, my computer meets the minimum requirements of the Libraries with extra ram to spare. Thanks for your help in advance. Have a great day, Jonathon
