    Hi,

    I like that there is a soft release in many of the new libraries. But I wonder if these are actual recordings, or just an edited release. I admit I'm not able to understand it. All considered, the release engine of the new player seems to work quite effectively.

    Hello Paolo!

    Soft releases have been recorded for some of our latest libraries. Only the release samples are different in comparison to the normal release though.

    Thank you, Andi! So, it is just a matter of listening to the sound, and see if the recorded soft release is there, and if it adds something that editing the envelope can't offer.

    Hello Paolo!

    The soft release patches have a different release sample. Release samples can't be edited with the envelop.
