    Hi! 

    I just started using this software and creating multi-port templates within Logic. I have one that's all BBC Strings, one that's Synchron strings, one for Woodwinds, etc. 

    I've gotten the tracks all laid out and they're working great, except that I can't mix them. For example, within my Synchron strings that are all on Port 1, if I change the volume on Stacatto violins it changes the volume of all of the other tracks within that port simultaneously. How does one go about mixing in this set up? Is there a way to make changes to just one track within the section, without it affecting every instrument going to that port?

    The only way I can imagine this happening is if you have the tracks simultaneously selected and your preferences/Instances tick the box "Automatically edit selected channels as a group". If this is not true I would assume problems and... I have no idea.

    you can't use the volume slider on the tracker header when you use multi-timbral instruments in LogicPro (VePro is a multi-timbral.  Makes no difference if its one port or multi ports.  the volume slider on the track header is actually effecting the fader on the channel strip (not AUXES), that is coming back from VePro...and they are all linked together to the same thing.

    I assume that is what is happening to you, but maybe not...give us more details of what you have setup, exactly and how the problem is manifesting itself.
