    Hello everybody,

    all of a sudden, a Logic session is freezing while opening and loading Vienna Instruments.

    When opening the project, Logic is loading the first couple of Vienna Instrument and Kontakt instances. Then it wants to open more Vienna Instances and is always freezing at the same spot: When loading "Vienna Instruments (3)".

    I think I'm using the latest software:

    Logic Pro 10.6.1
    Vienna Instruments 6.5.18935
    eLC 6.12.6.1281
    on a MacBookPro 11,3 with 10.15.7 and 16GB RAM

    I already tried switching the eLicenser to different USB ports with no effect.

    The only thing I can do at this point is Force Quit Logic after it is not responding.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Update:

    If I remove the Vienna Instruments.component file I can open up the project.
    As a workaround I can then remove all Vienna Instrument instances, save & close the file, load the project file, assign new VI instances to my tracks and work on the project.

    But if I close the project again and want to reload it, Logic again is loading until "VI (3)" and then freezesā€¦

    Hi, 

    That's unusual. I assume it's only with a specific file, is that correct?

    Did you try the backup versions? Could it be that the session got corrupted in some way?
