VE Pro keeps putting the vast majority of CPU usage on one thread of my processor, causing it to freeze when overall CPU usage is very low. I have a 16-core processor and multithreading per instance is set to 32 threads. I'm using Windows 10 and VE Pro 7. Any ideas how to get it to use more than just one thread? Thank you.

Hi,
By default VEP will make use of all of your available cores. You can change that setting here: https://www.vsl.info/manuals/vep7/vep-preferences#instances-preferences
Keep in mind that this setting is applied per instance - so if you use many instances with just a few instruments it makes sense to reduce the thread count.
