    With the latest update for VE Pro 7 I seem to have found a bug:

    If I add or open an existing 3rd party effects plugin, it appears fine, but if I close the plugin and open it again the GUI is blank. Rolling back to the previous VEP solves this, but causes me other problems such as Synchron Player/Pianos not being recognised (perhaps I'd need to roll those back too).

    I can use 3rd party instruments within VEP ok, but not effects. The only way to see any plugin's GUI again is to reload the Cubase project, but close the plugin and I'm back to square one. Happens with all 3rd party plugins, integrated VSL ones seem ok.

    Windows 10, Cubase 10.5, Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 Ti, Intel i7 5930K, Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX 128GB.

    I've had the same issue from time to time. Seems intermittent but definitely irksome.

    Hi!

    Please disable "Fast Plugin GUI switching" in the preferences.
    This should solve this issue for now.

    Disabling the fast plugin GUI switching does indeed seem to solve it.

    I never knew what that did anyway :)
