I'm trying to add instances I've created for one project to another project. I'm sure this is really simple, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Add New Instance from File menu, then Open instance, almost certainly control-O or command-O.

Thanks for your response.

So I can't seem to find "Open Instance." I see "Open Project," I'm assuming that's it, but it doesn't show any instances. It looks for .vep64 files, as opposed to .vesp64 files (server projects).

If it helps to know, I'm still running Vienna Ensemble Pro 6.

I think you probably want to Import an instance. Just be careful when you save, as it may want to write over the project you imported from.

Yeah, that's the same thing. The nomenclature there is 'Project' meaning .vep vs 'Server Project' ie., .vesp, anyway.

EDIT: oddly, it's Add New Instance and then Open Project fron the Instances menu here. An instance is a Project; once upon a time this was VI Frame ie., instance aka Project, vs Metaframe [Server Project] which contained one or more VI Frames/Instances aka Projects.

Sounds like that's it... How do I go about importing an instance? I don't see an option to...
