  • Reverb in mixing tab

    Hi all,

I am actually using the synchonized solo strings for a project.

On the mixer tab, when I choose a mix preset, I can see there is a reverb added (with different settings depending on the preset).

Is this reverb the the synchron stage positioning and verb or is it added reverb ?

For example, if I want only the synchron natural reverb and the correct positioning, what should I choose (I guess Mir unprocessed but not sure as the double bass is centered for example).

    Thanks a lot

    Hi

Even more comfortable: We have just released Library Updates for all SYNCHRON-ized products that actually provide you with a "99 MIR Unprocessed" Mixer preset.

    Get them here!

  • Paul and Team,

This update for SYN-zed dim. strings and brass couldn't have come at a better time.  THANK YOU!

  • "99 MIR Unprocessed"

Curious about the patch name; does that mean: 99% unprocessed by MIR?

  • Hi @Seventh Sam,

    Glad to hear that!

@Lucy: 99 is simply to make sure this preset is the last in the list (we might add more mixer presets in the future. These presets are simply resetting all SY-Player sound processing from the loaded content, so that you can use it in MIR Pro right away..

    Best,
    Paul

  • Ah that makes sense, in fact I've just seen it on your screenshot in another thread, which explained it for me; sorry for the silly question!

A very useful option by the way, since I put most things through MIR, thank you.
