  • About Vienna Synchron Piano`s pedal.

Hello, I work with NWC and Vienna Synchron Piano.

But there is one problem, when I play music with the pedals on and off on the NWC, it sounds like I'm still pushing the pedals on the Vienna Synchron Piano.

It sounds like another Piano VST has repedaling turned on.

In actual piano performance, you press the sustain pedal to play. At this time, if you step on the pedal and play the C chord, and then press and release the pedal to play the F chord, the note of the C chord may not be heard or may be heard very low.

However, in Vienna Synchron Piano, when playing an F chord, as in the above situation, a C chord's note sounds together.

Please help me how to fix it.

  • Hi!

I would suggest to check out the data your pedal is sending. In the Piano Player's Edit page, there is an indicator on the "Half Pedal Range" control. Adjust the half pedal settings accordingly.

If you are only able to get 2 states either your controller or your pedal do not support continous pedal data.

    Best, Ben

The nwc's pedal actuation mechanism has a value of 127 if not 0. Also, that method has been tried before.

  • Could you please elaborate or post a link to what "NWC" is?
