    I am running Windows 10 and I have some Spitfire and Kontakt libraries. I have the free Vienna Ensemble player version 6 and am trying to load third-party instruments such as Spitfire and Project SAM Free orchestra (Kontakt).  I pointed Vienna Ensemble 6 to all my VST folders and it picked up various third party effects but no actual instruments.  The only Vienna Libary I currently own is Free Big Bang Orchestra, but I intend to buy more.  Am I doing something wrong with the Vienna Ensemble 6 or do I need Vienna Ensemble Pro to be able to load up third party instruments?  If yes, then I will buy Vienna Ensemble Pro and which will come with Epic Orchestra.  Thanks.

    Yeah, no, those aren't going to happen with plain Ensemble. It's been over a decade, recall is fuzzy... originally the only non-VSL things which would load were the Apple developer testing AU things. Later it seems like other things would, but w. Kontakt et al you need Pro.
