VEP Crashing on Load via automation

So, in order to try to preserve resources, I've (like many others) set up a deactivated template, and am in the process of tortuously mapping the 'activate/deactivate' command to a CC (121 in my case).

I've set up a little MIDI block at the start of the tracks I want to use, should all be fine in theory...

However, every single time I've tried it out, and it's only on a few instruments at the moment, VEP crashes without fail.

Any ideas? I'm at the point of abandoning VEPro altogether at the moment, since I'm only on one PC it doesn't really seem like it's bringing much to the party beyond consant crashes and instability. Sorry to be harsh

Do you get any error reports?

Please send your template to , along with a setup description and a link to this thread, so we can look into it. Ideally find a minimal reproduction scenario for us!
