  • VI Upright Bass Broadcast on BBC Created in Lockdown

VSL Encouraged me to share this on the Forum,

I have just released four new albums.  Two of them I used VI Upright Bass.

The restrictions of Covid-19 lockdown prevented hiring live musicians.

So, I performed all the instruments myself but I can't play double bass.  Solution: I bought VI Upright Bass and it was excellent.

So far the jazz album 'Mostly Me' has been featured on a one hour BBC radio programme, plus airplay of individual tracks on many other radio.  The VI Upright bass blends in perfectly with the acoustic instruments.  Having this bass enabled me to compose, perform, recorded, produce and release these albums from home during lockdown.  Without it I'd still be waiting for lifted restrictions for when I can have a bass player in the studio.

The contemporary classical album 'Fantasia on Mindfulness Op.43' yet to be broadcast but is lost without the VI Upright Bass.

Both albums 'Mostly Me' and 'Fantasia on Mindfulness Op.43' can be found here:
