What does this symbol in my Synchron SE mean?

Hi to the forum,

I have got rather large x shapes or crosses in some of my special edition patches.

What do they mean? Have I not uploaded the full library?

Maybe you have not told Synchron Player were your data is. You can do it in the Options (gear icon) > Databases page.

If this didnt solve your issues, the sample data might be corrupted and need re-downloading and installing.

I've never seen a sign like this in any of my vsl sample banks. Perhaps, when I get time, I'll post a picture.

Hello again Ben,

 

I actually did the download of my Syncron SE plus library, and it's ready to install. I'm still waiting on the download of the SE 1 SE to finish downloading. I'm having trouble with my internet connection at the moment, very slow.

Do I delete the folders on my SSD drive of the SE folders before I install?

Hi Steve, 

The new download will delete the old files if they are installed in the same hierarchy.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for that. I was hoping it would do that. I'm just going to install the new download of the SE 1 and hopefully that should fix the problem. I checked my other synchron libraries and there were no problems there, so I'll see how I go.

Hi Paul,

 

good news. All is now fixed. I usually delete the files, but for a second I decided not to, in case something happens again. However, I'd like to delete them, as I think I'll be fine.

I'm not sure where those files are saved to though. I can't see them in the downloads section, so I guessed they're stored in some vsl program folder maybe.

If I can't find them, I'll just set up the downloader again, reinstall and delete afterwards, as the samples had no problems this time.

You are the one who choses the download and installation location... What exactly are you looking for?

just looking for the place that it is downloaded to. Strange, I cannot see it in my download folder. I check around and see. Should be no problem.
