Elite C Bass adding staccato plays in octaves

I am finding that with the Elite C Bass patches, when I add a staccato dot to a note (specifically a D in the middle of bass clef stave) the sample plays back in octaves, adding the octave below, without the staccato dot it sounds fine ? Is anyone hearing this ?

Hello Dave!

Thanks for reporting. I can reproduce what you have written with Dorico. There is an error in the synchron strings pro and elite strings double bass expression map. We'll fix it with the next update. In the meantime you can fix it yourself.
- Go to the Expression Maps menu and select "VSL SY Strings Pro - Double basses".
- Select the "Staccato" switch.
- The last keyswitch should be "A#0" instead of "B0" with Middle C =C4.

Just a quick reminder : this error is still not fixed. I found it in Synchron Strings Pro yesterday. I use VSL for Dorico v228.

Hello Michaël!

As far as I remember this should be fixed for a long time. If you have started your project before it was fixed, you still have the old version of the expression map in your project. In this case please re-load the expression map (or simply fix this one keyswitch yourself in the expression map).
