I looked but couldn't initially find this.

I'm starting to exceed the capabilities of my Primary PC which hosts Cubase11 and one of my VE 7 Pro Servers.

I'm looking into getting something beefy in order to have more bandwidth for large orchestral library configurations in VE 7 Pro Ensemble.

Sweetwater has some products they offer that are tailored for this, but I believe part of the benefit in those is the rack configurations that are portable or can easily be rack mounted in a studio.

What kick-a** systems are other users using on the PC Side, and/or what are your wish-list configurations you're contemplating for when you have the cash?

Do you want to build a PC? I've had a lot of success with my Gigabyte Z390 Designare with an i9 9900KS, 64GB RAM, RX580, SATA SSDs for the system and general media and a Samsung 970 PCIe for the sample libraries. It's also super-quiet and air-cooled.

If I were building a new system, I'd either wait for the soon-to-be-released new stuff.

If I didn't need Thunderbolt (and I won't buy another Thunderbolt interface) I'd consider the AMD stuff.

If I were building another Intel system, I'd wait for the Alder Lake stuff. My next build's CPU will have at least 12 cores.
