    Hello,

    I'd love to share an issue I have and I can't figure out what is causing this. I have protools 2019,5 on a Mac Pro 2013 thrash can I'm running VEP 7 on a PC.

    When I learn a parameter to automate in Kontakt on my PC, when I'm doing automation in my daw there's a huge amount of digital distortion but only when the buffer is on. When I turn off the Buffer the distortion disappear.

    I have attach a video of the problem, I would definitely need help on that one.

    Hi Ben, 

    Which OS are you working on, and does that happen with all buffer sizes? Also when you restart the system?

    Can't check this here right now (not in the studio), but maybe a fellow forum member can take a look?

    Hello Paul,

    Thanks for answering back. 

    My mac has High Sierra and the slave PC has windows 10 pro. I've tried as well with Mojave and it's the same.

    The noise seems to intensify the more the buffer gets bigger, but when I remove the instance buffer, no more digital distortion. I also try to reset after your answer and it didn't changed anything.

    If we can reproduce this here, we can probably fix it.

    I will prepare the session,  I don't think you even need the same Kontakt instrument, I think it's the same problem with any of those.

    I have the same behaviour. I'm automating an instance of Synapses 'Legend'. If I remove the buffer it comes good, but glitches like hell when the default 2 buffers are there. Pretty annoying.

    I'm ON Logic 10.7.4 running 12.4 macOS.
