Hello

I am using Vep on a slave computer to house my Reverbs and delays. Mac Mini running OS 10.14.6

In my master computer daw which is cubase i create an fx chanel and insert vep 7 input which is assigned to the instance on the server and set to 1-2
in rep on slave i have a delay plugin. the out put of that channel in rep is routed back to the DAW in a VEP track for that channel.
All routing is working but the signal is coming back Distorted almost like buffer distortion.
And it happens even without an fx plugin inserted on the VEP channel.
This doesnt happen if i am playing Instruments off of slave only when using to host my effects that are sent back into cubase
If i raise the buffer way up on my master computer it goes away but this i don't understand. the plugins are on the VEP slave computer
This problem also happens when running the VEP server on same computer as DAW.
I'm pretty sure everything is routed correctly.
I have attatched the VEP session and Simple cubase session with the routing set up if anyone cares to check it.
Thanks!!!

the latency is determined in the DAW or sequencing host, period.

if it is solved by higher buffers, that's that.
