Vel. XF "Default = CC 1" - except it's actually 2

I've got the synchronized special editions. When I hover over the Vel. XF setting, the comment says "Default = CC 1." However, the patches are all programmed so that Vel. XF is CC 2.

First, that's just confusing!

Second, is there a way I can "synchronize" settings between my Synchron player instances? So that when I set CC = 1 to Vel. XF in one instance, it reflects everywhere? And keep it that way?

Or will I have to re-configure and re-save every single patch?

Hi Pat,

We will remove the default section, thanks for the reminder.
We recently switched to CC1 for most presets with Velocity XF turned on by default in our newer products, as it is the controller most people are already used to.

Synchronizing parameter changes can be quite dangerous if you don't have the full overview of your template, but we'll give that some more thought.

Best,
Paul

What I do is go to an extant Synchron, to Control and right-click directly below the name & copy and paste it to a new instance. if there's nothing instantiated it's quicker to just load one of my user presets and do than change all of it.

sometimes there are variances in the Dimension controller but in general I have consistency.

Also the BBO libs here so far do default to CC1 for veloXF. something like Synch. Strings pro are the old paradigm from VI, CC2.
